The 2025 Class of Leadership Atlanta has taken up the project with Georgia CORE to develop a toolkit for the business community.
Cancer care advocates have two big wins coming out of the 2025 Georgia General Assembly -- funding for a colorectal cancer awareness campaign and a resolution for lawmakers to study access to cancer care in Georgia.
The 4th annual seed fund grant is going to Ali Arbab, MD, PhD of the Georgia Cancer Center at the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta University and Mujibur Khan, PhD of Georgia Southern University. The two will be awarded $100,000 to study multi-drug nanocapsules for breast cancer treatment.
