Phillip H. Street Cancer Community Service Award

In honor of the late Phillip Street – board member, legal counsel and long-time friend of Georgia CORE, its Board of Directors has created the Phillip H. Street Cancer Community Service Award.

Phillip’s appreciation for the “unsung hero” in the cancer fight including survivors, caregivers, advocates, and volunteers is part of his legacy and shapes the award criteria. Georgia CORE is currently raising funds for the monetary gift that will accompany the award. The winner will receive $5,000 and may choose whether to accept the funds for personal use or donate the proceeds to a charity or charities of their choice. Donations can be made by visiting clicking here or sending a check to the address above.

Thank you

Every dollar donated to Georgia CORE goes to improving cancer care for Georgians in rural, urban, and suburban communities across the state.
