Donald G. Gallup, MD 1936 – 2011 Dr. Gallup served as the first Principal Investigator of the Georgia CORE GOG Consortium, which was established in 2007. Under his leadership the Consortium became a full member of the Gynecologic Oncology Group, an NCI Cooperative Group, and is one of the first coalitions to achieve this distinction. Active members of the Consortium in 2010 included Memorial Health University in Savannah where Dr. Gallup practiced, the Medical College of Georgia, Winship Cancer Center, the Georgia Cancer Center for Excellence at Grady, John B. The Georgia CORE Board of Directors, investigators, staff and consultants extend our sympathy and condolences to Dr. Gallup’s wife and children.
