Patients: Gather information before participating in a clinical drug trial

Dr. Andrew Pippas, clinical oncology research director at John B. Amos Cancer Center is principle investigator for the state of Georgia for a current clinical drug trial regarding the treatment of pancreatic cancer. This trial is for previously untreated stage-4 pancreatic cancer patients. It will test whether adding a new drug, bavituximab, to the standard treatment of the disease improves quality and length of life. VIEW FULL ARTICLE
