The Wilbur and Hilda Glenn Family Foundation has announced its commitment of $500,000 to Georgia CORE in the form of a three year grant for operating support. This investment will fund the development and promotion of clinical trials and the dissemination of promising cancer treatments in partnership with Winship Cancer Institute, an NCI designated cancer center. In making this grant, Thomas K. Glenn, President of the Foundation, acknowledged the "critical services provided by Georgia CORE which are so important to the search for a cure for cancer." According to Georgia CORE President, Nancy Paris, "it is an honor to receive this extraordinary investment from the Glenn Family Foundation in recognition of the combined efforts of community oncologists, academic reserchers, caregivers, educators and advocates in Georgia."
