Georgia CORE advocates for rule change allowing Medicare payments for patient navigation services

In July, Georgia CORE CEO Lynn Durham wrote a letter to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to lend support for a rule change that will allow Medicare payments for patient navigation services. This rule change would allow these medically necessary services performed through hospitals, physician practices, and community-based organizations to be eligible for payment. See Lynn's letter here, and if you wish to join in this advocacy effort, CMS is accepting comments until September 11, 2023.
