Appalachian Regional Commission, the CDC, and the Prevention Research Center at UK are conducting a survey targeting Appalachian navigators

6/16/2015

The Prevention Research Center at the University of Kentucky in partnership with the Appalachian Regional Commission and the CDC is working on a project examining the state of navigation in the Appalachian states and developing some Appalachia specific information and materials.  They are currently conducting a survey to collect information from patient navigators who provide navigation services and service cancer patients and their families in Appalachia.  You can find the survey here.

The Centers for Disease Control, the Appalachian Regional Commission and the Prevention Research Center at the University of Kentucky are partnering together to examine and focus resources on cancer navigation in the Appalachian states.

Below is the link to a brief survey to gather information about cancer navigation in your state. Please complete the survey to ensure that your experiences providing navigation services are included and your state's contributions to navigation will be part of the findings.

We realize that some of you may work at a hospital, cancer center or for an organization that is located outside the Appalachia region of your state but you provide navigation services to individuals who reside in the Appalachia area of the state.  If that is the case, Yes, please complete the survey.

The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete.  We appreciate your time and attention to this effort.    Please provide your contact information if you would like additional information about project activities and a brief summary of survey results.  You can access the survey here.
