The Comprehensive Cancer Control National Partnership (CCCNP) presents a Zoom event entitled: A Call to Action: Getting Back on Track with HPV Vaccination and Addressing Vaccine Hesitancy. Speaker: Melinda Wharton, MD, MPH, Director, Immunization Services Division, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Dr. Wharton will present recent data about vaccine ordering and well-child visits, highlight the challenges providers, parents, and payors face in the current environment and share CDC’s recent Call to Action for those groups to get kids back on track with routine immunizations, including HPV.

Thanks to funding awarded by the Centers for Disease Control for five-years beginning July 2020, Georgia CORE and Augusta University are partners in the Georgia Colorectal Cancer Control Program, which is increasing CRC screenings in southeast and southwest Georgia.
