Tobacco Cessation & Cancer Education CHW Training

You are invited to attend a Smoking Cessation and Cancer Education Training on March 28th, 2017 at the Mack Gaston Community Center. This training is open to Community Health Workers, patient navigators and any allied health professional, who is interested in learning more about the resources available to help patients quit smoking and the effects smoking has on cancer and cancer survivorship. This training is being hosted by the National Rural Health Association in collaboration with the Northwest Georgia Healthcare Partnership, CADCA Geographic Health Equity Alliance and the Texas A&M National Community Health Worker Training Center. - A certificate of attendance will be awarded to all who complete the training - Breakfast and Lunch will be provided - A small transportation stipend will be given out to those who attend the training Please fill out the registration form through this link to register for the training.
