The 5K Pink Ribbon Walk/Run is now in its 11th year and has grown tremendously.Proceeds from the previous 5K Walk/Run have traditionally gone towards the funding of the Sisters by Choice's Mobile Breast Clinic. This year, we are very pleased to announce that construction of the mobile breast clinic was completed in December 2014. Proceeds from the Pink Ribbon 5K Walk/Run will be CRUCIAL in maintaining the operational costs of the Mobile Breast Clinic. Your participation will ensure that this first of its kind mobile breast clinic can continue to bring quality breast care to the medically underserved men and women in the state of Georgia. Registration is $25 and begins for the Walk/Race @ 7:00 AM *Race/Walk begins @ 8:30 AM

Lawmakers conclude listening tour on access to cancer care

Rep. Lee Hawkins, R-Gainesville, the committee’s chairman, said he and other lawmakers are working on drug pricing and other issues. He wrapped up the committee’s listening tour by saying the General Assembly will continue to study cancer care access.
