Piedmont Cancer’s 4th annual symposium for primary care providers and internists, the symposium is now interdisciplinary, with educational material of interest to pharmacists and oncology nurses as well as well as providers. As the supply of medical oncologists continues to lag behind demand, you will need to become more comfortable with the appropriate aspects of care for your cancer patients. We have designed this year’s course to help you achieve a higher level of understanding about cancer and its treatment, and have thereby comprised our faculty of oncologists with whom you will be working – giving us a unique opportunity to build a strong and collaborative partnership.
