Houston Mill House

Atlanta, GA 30329

The program will offer a panel discussion for parents and caregivers of childhood cancer patients. Childcare will be provided. At the conclusion of this program, participants should be able to identify key issues that arise when their child is diagnosed with cancer including parenting challenges, education and emotional issues. Children who participate will be engaged in activities and provided support. This program will prepare caregivers and family members to discuss survivorship issues including the range of feelings accompanying a cancer diagnosis and coping strategies with their child’s treatment team. Participants will be able to identify support resources, both locally and nationally through LLS. We encourage you to invite your caregiver and family members.
