Dr. Trevor Feinstein treats patients with all cancer types given his extensive experience in oncology and hematology. He is a diplomate in the American Board of Hematology and the American Board of Oncology. He joined Piedmont Cancer Institute in 2011. Before joining PCI, he cared for cancer patients in private practice in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Dr. Feinstein is the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including the Thomas O'Toole Award for his outstanding work with the underserved populations; a Sanofi-Aventis Grant; and the Amgen Fellowship Award. He was instrumental in bringing the DigniCap Scalp Cooling System to Piedmont Cancer Institute. PCI was the first location in the state of Georgia, to have DigniCap, which reduces the likelihood of chemotherapy-induced alopecia (hair loss).

Dr. Feinstein has authored over 30 peer-reviewed articles, abstracts and manuscripts in Hematology and Oncology. He has given international lectures on the treatment of lung cancer, including a proffered paper at ESMO (European Society for Medical Oncology) and leading the AstraZeneca Lung Cancer Summit in Beijing. He co-runs Piedmont Cancer’s research department. He sits on the Piedmont Hospital’s Oncology Scientific Review Committee and is director of research at Piedmont Fayette Hospital.

Dr. Feinstein is married and has two boys. He and his family are supporters of several local and regional charitable organizations including Bloom Our Youth, the Joseph Sams School and Aurora Day Camp. He enjoys exercise, traveling with his family, and watching professional football, especially the Chicago Bears.
