We're thrilled to share the latest issue of Atlanta Medicine featuring many of our Board members, including Chair Dr. Roland Matthews of Grady Health System, pictured on the cover. We're grateful to MAA for allowing us to assist in selecting a handful of oncologists to author articles on cancer screenings, clinical trials, genetic testing and more. Check it out and please share!

Did you hear? We're putting weird looking stools all over bars and coffee shops to get Georgians talking about WEIRD LOOKING STOOLS. WHY? COLON CANCER. It's growing at an alarming rate in younger people. It kills more Georgians than almost any other cancer. By 2030, it will be the #1 cancer killer of people under 50.

Georgia Society of Clinical Oncology is partnering with Georgia CORE to support the Georgia Cancer Trial Finders pilot! This innovative service helps oncology providers identify clinical trials for their patients and connect directly with research staff across Georgia. Clinical trials offer access to groundbreaking treatments - and patients are more likely to participate when trials are available close to home.
