Richard G. Mooney, III is a founding and Managing Partner in Allen, Mooney & Barnes Investment Advisors, LLC. He is a Registered Principal, a Registered Investment Advisor Representative, a General Securities Representative and he also holds his life and health insurance licenses for the State of Georgia. Previously, Mr. Mooney served as Vice-President of the Thomasville, Georgia office of Shields & Company. Prior to 1989, he and M. H. Allen, Jr., worked in a partnership arrangement with Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Inc. Mr. Mooney was also a Vice-President with the Citizens and Southern National Bank, managing the marketing department and serving as a commercial lending officer. He specialized in Trust services work for corporations and high net-worth individuals in the South Georgia area. Mr. Mooney received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgia Southwestern University in 1974. Later, he graduated from the Banking School of the South at Louisiana State University, the Georgia Banking School in Athens, Georgia and the Commercial Credit and Lending School with C&S at Georgia State University in Atlanta.
