Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center

The Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center is accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons as a Community Hospital Cancer Program. The clinic is a member of two national organizations participating in cancer trials, including the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG) and the National Surgical Adjuvant Bowel and Breast Project (NSABP). Located at Fort Gordon, the Hematology/Oncology Clinic at the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center serves Eisenhower's beneficiaries in a multidisciplinary fashion. A variety of services, ranging from board certified physicians to specialized nursing, nutritional, and chaplain support are available. The Hematology/Oncology Clinic participates in clinical trials designed to improve cancer outcomes. The clinic also provides access to several military and pharmaceutical sponsored clinical trials. The Hematology/Oncology Clinic coordinates with outside agencies to provide services unavailable at the clinic, such as support groups, home nursing services, and hospice services.
