is a hospice house in Columbus, GA that provides inpatient care. Social Workers, RN's, and CNA's provide physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support to individuals with a life limiting illness. Bereavement support is also given to family members up to one year; more bereavement support is available if needed.

Georgia Breast Cancer Coalition Fund (GBCCF)

was formed by individuals who came together for a common cause to fight to eliminate breast cancer for the future generations. The organization's mission is to educate local, state and national legislators and the public about all aspects of breast cancer: the importance of early detection, lifestyle changes, treatment and research; to advocate at the state and national levels for increased breast cancer research funding, health care reform and breast cancer legislation that will be of benefit to all; and to eradicate breast cancer.

Georgia Center for Oncology Research and Education (Georgia CORE)

is an independent, non-profit organization working to improve cancer care in Georgia by strengthening clinical research throughout the state. Georgia CORE is a novel collaboration of clinicians, scientists, educators, public health practitioners and those affected by cancer.

Georgia Legal Aid is a joint project of Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Inc. and the Georgia Legal Services Program. The project is powered by Pro Bono Net, funded by Legal Services Corporation and the Georgia Access to Justice Project and produced in cooperation with the Carl Vinson Institute of Government and legal service organizations and government agencies throughout Georgia and the United States. Our goal is to provide the public with easy Internet access to basic legal information and legal resources in Georgia.

Georgia Legal Services Program

is a statewide non-profit law firm serving 154 counties in Georgia outside the five-county metropolitan Atlanta area, which are served by the Atlanta Legal Aid Society. Georgia Legal Services Program (GLSP) has offices in Albany, Athens, Augusta, Brunswick/Waycross, Columbus, Dalton, Piedmont, Gainesville, Macon, Savannah, and Valdosta. GLSP also has a Farmworker Rights Division in Atlanta which serves migrant and seasonal farmworkers throughout the state. Each office is responsible for serving clients in its home county and surrounding counties. Staff attorneys and paralegals ride circuit to two or more counties each, seeing clients at welfare offices, courthouses, local social service agencies, libraries or other locations. Every office has a toll-free number which facilitates access by clients.

Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance (GOCA)

an organization designed to increase awareness and educate Georgia's women and their families as well as the healthcare community about risks, symptoms, and treatment of ovarian cancer leading to earlier detection. GOCA serves the metropolitan Atlanta area with public outreach programs and fundraising events and is working to expand statewide outreach.

Georgia Prostate Cancer Coalition

is a non-profit organization founded by representatives from various prostate cancer support groups in the Metro-Atlanta area. Georgia Prostate Cancer Coalition is a coalition partner with the National Prostate Cancer Coalition (NPCC) and a member of the National Alliance of State Prostate Cancer Coalitions. The organization's mission is to increase prostate cancer awareness, advocacy and information exchange.
