We are gathering to support children and families affected by childhood cancer and create awareness among the community at-large. Families are invited out to cool off in the water park and enjoy food, games, and live entertainment. The City of Stonecrest will provide special gifts for children with cancer to help them along their journey. Additionally, we are working on a partner to facilitate a blood drive during the event to fill that critical need during treatment. We are seeking the help of organizations like yours to: Extend the invitation to the families you serve; share invaluable information on the impact of childhood cancer on our community; and showcase literature, resources, and services for childhood cancer awareness, prevention, and support. Firm believers in the power of storytelling, we are also interested in identifying champions, survivors, family members to share their journey with the audience for 3-5 minutes.
