Did you know there is a side of radiology that plays a vital role in cancer treatment? Join this live virtual program to hear Dr. Jason Levy, with Northside Radiology Associates, discuss how interventional radiologists use the guidance of diagnostic imaging to perform complex procedures and advanced medical treatments. Using a small nick in the skin, interventional radiologists can do everything from placing ports to complex targeted therapies, allowing a quicker recovery time than with traditional surgery. Dr. Gena Volas Redd, with Georgia Cancer Specialists, will moderate this event where participants have the opportunity to ask questions.
