The Alliance to Advance Patient-Centered Cancer Care is hosting Monica Dean, Danelle Johnston, MSN, RN, HON-ONN-CG, OCN, and Tricia Strusowski, MS, RN, who will be presenting the AONN+ 2020 Navigation Metrics Toolkit. They will demonstrate how this transformative work can help define oncology navigation practice and outcomes, highlighting the value of patient navigation throughout the cancer care continuum. This event is open to patient navigators, clinicians, practice administrators, and health care executives – anyone who might be looking to support patient navigation programs in a clinical setting.

Lynn Durham has been named the new president and CEO of Georgia CORE. Durham, currently Georgia Tech vice president for institute relations, will replace Nancy Paris, who has led Georgia CORE since its inception and is retiring.



Georgia CORE and partners win five-year grant for colorectal cancer prevention

The CDC-funded program will bring colorectal screening, navigation and colonoscopies to 15,000 people in southeast and southwest Georgia.


Nancy Paris elevates cancer treatment and research in Georgia

Nancy Paris has served as president and CEO of Georgia CORE since its creation in 2005. At the end of the year, she will be retiring after spending her entire career in healthcare, during which she focused on addressing community health issues including homelessness, HIV/AIDS and rural health.
