Each of the meals has been developed with input from registered dietitians specializing in oncology and in accordance with guidelines from the American Institute for Cancer Research. United in Pink's mission is to focus on survivorship and quality of life for families affected by a breast cancer diagnosis. It provides unique services to the community in that it is the only local organization to focus on the holistic needs of families affected by breast cancer. Although there are other support groups in the region, United in Pink is the only group that purposefully includes therapeutic activities and support for all members of the family. All United in Pink programs and services are offered at no charge and have no barriers to access.
