Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at Northside Hospital Cancer Institute

The Blood and Marrow Transplant Program at Northside Hospital is located in Atlanta. The center has four physicians and a multi-disciplinary team of physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, clinical pharmacists that provide patient care. The Blood and Marrow Transplant Program offers: Autologous Stem Cell Transplants; Related and Unrelated Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplants; Haploidentical Stem Cell Transplants; Cord Blood Transplants and Nonmyeloablative / Reduced Intensity Stem Cell Transplants. The Blood and Marrow Transplant Program participates in the National Cancer Institute(NCI) sponsored Bone Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network (BMTCTN), a working group of the nation's leading transplant centers that conduct clinical trials to pioneer better ways to perform transplants. In addition to clinical trials initiated by physician investigators at the center, the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program collaborates with large cooperative cancer groups like Cancer and Leukemia Group B (CALGB) and other major transplant centers and leukemia programs.
